| Puolesta kerästä punaista Alize Cashmira-lankaa syntyi pipo Lalla Pohjanpalon
Jacques Cousteau pipo -ilmaisohjeella. Itselleni punainen pipo tuo
mieleen tutummin Zissou-elokuvahahmon, joka myös liikkuu ja
seikkailee maailman merillä Wes Andersonin Steve Zissoun vedenalainen maailma -elokuvassa, mutta nimi Cousteau tuo myös merellisiä mielikuvia. Punainen lanka ei riittänyt ihan loppuun
asti, joten jatkoin oranssilla Cashmere Goldilla ja peitin huipun
monivärisellä jämälankatupsulla. Puikkokoko 3.25 mm. I had about half of a skein of red Alize Cashmira yarn, and I decided to make a Steve-Zissou-style cap with it. I used Jacques Cousteau Hat pattern that is by Finnish designer Lalla Pohjanpalo and is available for free. I'm vaguely familiar with the marine explorer Cousteau, but the fictional charater of Zissou from The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is more known red hat reference for me. The red wool that I had was't quite enough, so I topped the hat off with some orangey yarn. And I added a scrap-yarn pompom. Needle size was 3.25 mm. |
