| Nähtyäni kivoja tilkullisia tikkitakkeja päätin kokeilla sellaisen ompelemista itse. Takkikaavana käytin Ainu-mallia Kotiliesi Käsityö -lehdestä 5/2025. Löysin kangaskaupan palalaareista kierrätettyä 1970-luvun tyylistä printtikangasta ja vanukangasta, joista maksoin yhteensä noin 23 euroa. Niistä ja kirppareilta ostetuista Marimekon Jokapoika-paidoista kasasin kokoon tämän tikkitakin. Valkoisen tereen ryöväsin äidin varastoista. Takki ei ole täydellisesti ommeltu, mutta on juuri sitä kääriytyneenä-mummon-vilttiin -tyyliä mitä hain. After seeing some cute quilted patchwork coat I decided to sew one for myself. As a base I used a coat pattern Ainu from a Finnish craft magazine. I found a recycled retro cotton fabric at a sales bin in Finnish fabric store. It cost about 10 euros and the wadding for quilting cost about 13 euros. And I used some 2nd hand Marimekko shirts that I had bought many years ago to make accent pocket and some other details. The white bias-tape used for the edges is from my mom's stash. This is not perfectly sewn and making it took longer that my sewing projects usually do, but it is pretty close to what I dreamed of having. |

| Myssy ja hansikkaat ovat omatekoisia. Poolo on kirpparilta ja farkut alelöytö yli vuosikymmenen takaa, silloin kun bootcut-farkut oli viimeksi pop. The beret and gloves are DIY makes. Turle-neck is thrifted. Jeans were a sales find, bought over a decade ago, when bootcut jeans were last in. |
