| Tämä liivi on ommeltu jämäkankaasta, jota jäi muutama vuosi sitten tekemästäni villamekosta. Kangas on alunperin kirpparilta, mutta se on laadukasta vuosikertavillaa, jossa on hieno himmeä kiilto. Raidat aiheuttivat päänvaivaa, sillä ne sojottavat sikin sokin sinne tänne muotolaskosten vuoksi, mutta kokonaisuus toivottavasti toimii. Napit ovat retrokamaa myös ja tuovat sopivaa vintage-henkeä malliin, joka on aika 50- tai 60-luvun tyylinen. Ompeluohje on Burda Style -lehdestä 5/2023. This vest is sewn out of scrap wool fabric that was left over from a dress made few years ago. I had gotten the deadstock fabric from a thrift store, but it is nice quality, soft and shiny wool, almost better to touch than many of the modern fabrics. Buttons are of retro variety too. And pattern has some mid-century vintage vibes, but it is from fairly recent Burda Style magazine 5/2023. The Peter Pan collar is very chic detail, but only after cutting the fabric I realised that the stripes are going to clash which ever way I turn them, but hopefully the fairly subtle colours make it work. |
