| Toukokuun teema on jo usean vuoden ajan ollut Me-Made-May eli omatekoisten vaatteiden toukokuu. Ideana on käyttää omatekoisia vaatteita tai asettaa jokin tekemishaaste itselleen. Näin näkee myös onko oma vaatekaappi täynnä turhuuksia tai puuttuuko jokin vaatekappale sieltä. Tämä toukokuu on ollut koronan vuoksi kotoilua ja raittiissa ilmassa mahdollisimman etäällä muista reippailua. Omatekoiset legginsit ja villatakit sekä college-paidat olivat tämän toukokuun hittejä. Mekoille oli vähän käyttöä. Me-Made-May is a tradtion in the sewing and crafting community and each participant can choose how they want to participate. They can for example try wear something self-made every day to see if the content of ther closet makes sense and if it contains unnecessary things or has gaps. I needed mostly sweatshirts and leggins is this May that was defined by corona-isolation. I love sewing and wearing groovy dresses, but they're not the comfiest home-wear. But then again I may have entered the scarecrow phase of isolation, when I just wear anything that is laying on the floor. |
