| Löysin teatteripuvustamon poistomyynnistä 70-luvun tunikan, jonka ostin tuunaustarkoituksessa muistaakseni 6 eurolla. Leikkasin ja ompelin siitä liehuvahihaisen topin Burda Style -lehden 1/2018 ohjeella. Tuunaamiseen päädyin tänään The Refashioners -ompeluhaasteen innoittamana. The Makery -blogissa on vaatetuunausideoita ja haaste uudistaa ja ommella jotain vanhasta. The Refashioners sewing challenge by The Makery blog inspired me to sew a top today. I had bough a 1970s maxi caftan from a yard sale by a local theater. It had a genuine 70s plastic material, but also a fantastic row of buttons. I kept the button row, but cut it to blouse length. I used a shirt pattern from Burda Syle 1/2018. My goal was to look like a customer in a 1970s fashion boutique, like Biba. |
