| Ompelin tämän mekon muutama vuosi sitten Simplicity-ohjeella vuodelta 1971 ja siinä oli 70-luvun muhkeat puhvihihat, jotka kuitenkin alkoivat käydä kuumiksi käytössä. Kesällä kaipaa ilmavaihtoa kainaloille ja talvella isot hihat on vaikea mahduttaa villatakkiin. Leikkasin hihat siis pois ja huolittelin saumat uudelleen. This dress I diy make from few years back, and I used a Simplicity pattern from 1971 to make it. The original pattern had bit bigger puff sleeves. They started to feel bit restricting though. In the summer I want to feel the breeze in my armpits, and in the winter I don't want to have to stuff big sleeves into a cardigan. So I chopped the sleeves off and finished the armhole seams for a lighter and more airy dress. |
