| Nämä kanasukat vaikkapa pääsiäispyhinä käytettäviksi on neulottu Charlotte Stonen Eggs for Easter -ohjeella, joka löytyy Charming Colorwork Socks -kirjasta. Harmaa päälanka on kirpparilta löytynyttä lankaa, joka loppui valitettavasti kesken, joten jouduin korkkaamaan uuden villakerän, mutta muuten nokittiin vanhoja jämälankoja. Puikkokokoina 2 mm ja 2.5 mm. These socks with chicken-motifs are made with Eggs for Easter pattern that is by Charlotte Stone. The pattern can be found in Charming Colorwork Socks book. I used mostly scrap yarns, but ran out of the main grey, so I had to start another greyish stripey skein of yarn. Knitting needle sizes used for these socks were 2 mm and 2.5 mm. |

| Taustalla on viime syksynä eteläpohjalaiselta kirpparilta löytynyt opetustaulu, jonka ostin koska isälläni oli jossain vaiheessa kanoja ja myös äidinäitini työskenteli kanalassa. Puulelut edessä on ostettu Juhtbackan antiikkitorilta. Ryijy on äidin kirppislöytö. The old poster and small wooden toys are my 2nd hand finds and the ryijy-rug textile is mom's thrift find. I bought the chicken-themed stuff, beause my dad had chicken at some point and my grandma worked in egg-business too briefly. And I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian, so I won't eat chicken but I do say yes to eggs. |
