| Tämä huivi on vuoden ensimmäinen valmistunut virkkausproggis. Ohje on Moondrop Shawl, jonka on suunnitellut Lior Carlson. Aloitin virkkaamisen kristallihelmiä sisältävällä Katia Sunset-puuvillalangalla ja kun se loppui huivin ollessa noin 3/4 valmis jatkoin House Estiva Silky -bambu-puuvillalangalla ja sitten tein ihan kärjen vielä hopeanvärisellä kirppislangalla tarkoituksella erottuvaksi. Virkkuukoukun koko oli 3.5 mm. This shawl is the first finished crochet make of the year. I used Moondrop Shawl pattern that is by Lior Carlson. The crochet hook size was 3.5 mm, and yarns are a mix of several skeins. The first yarn was Katia Sunset, that is a cotton yarn with crystal beads. After I ran out of that yarn when about 3/4 way through the project I had to go shopping for something else black and I got House Estiva Silky that is a bamboo-cotton blend. And then I decided to embrace the change and make the very tip on purpose in contrasting silver mystery yarn that I´ve gotten from a thrift store. |
