| Ostin viime kesänä ison kerän itseraidoittavaa Katia Spring Rainbow -neulelankaa ja vihdoin päädyin käyttämään sen Whitehorse-neulepaitaan, jonka on on suunnitellut Caitlin Hunter. 600 metriä lankaa riitti vartalo-osaan, mutta pienet hihat neuloin Dropsin Cotton lightilla, joka on myös puuvilla-sekoitelanka. Puikot 3.5 mm. Muokkasin ohjetta useissa kohdin; kauluksesta tein nirkkoreunaisen, lisäsin keskelle rivin palleroita, jotka eivät tosin erotu kovin hyvin, ja lisäksi muokkasin hihoja ja istuuvuutta langan riittävyyden varmistamiseksi. Ja jätin myös oikein-nurin reunahuolittelun ja tein sen sijasta muutaman rivivn aina-oikein neuletta. I bought a gradient swirl by Katia yarns last summer and finaly got round to using it. I chose the Whitehorse pattern by Caitlin Hunter. As 600 meters of yarn was barely enough I had to use another yarn for the sleeves, Drops Cotton light. I made many modifications to spare the yarn: the leeves and hem are shorter and slimmer than in the pattern, I also made picot edge on top and garter stitch at the sleeves and few bottom rows. I also added a wavy row of bobbles around the chest, but the popcorn-bobbles do not pop very much in this cotton-blend yarn, so that mod is not that successful. |
