| Olen käyttänyt tätä vuonna 2019 valmistunutta neuletakkia kotoiluasuna vuosia, ja se oli paitsi haalistunut mutta myös ratkennut reikäiseksi kyynärpään kohdalta. Myös eräälle toiselle paidalle on käynyt samoin. Lisäksi harmaan kirppispoolon saumoihin oli tullut pesussa reikiä. Paikkasin näitä kaikkia paitoja. Isommille rei'ille neuloin tai virkkasin kontrastiväriset paikat näkyvän paikkaamisen hengessä. Pienemmät reiät kuroin kokoon ompelulangalla. I made this cardigan in 2019 and have used it as a cosy layering piece for years. The yarn has faded over the years, and now also a hole appeared at elbow. I mended it by knitting a patch, that I sewed in place to cover the hole. Couple of other shirts, both of them thrifted and in heavy everyday rotation, had gotten holes too. I mended those too. Some in an invisible way, and other with the ethos of visible mending. |
