merkkiä vailla ollut mekko löytyi kirpparilta joitain vuosia sitten
muutamalla eurolla. Siinä oli isot pöyhkeät hihat, mikä viittasi 1980-luvun
muotiluomukseen. Hihat leikkaamalla siitä tuli kuitenkin kevyempi ja ajattoman vintagehenkinen. Tyyliltäään se edustaa tätityyliä, joka muistuttaa isotädistäni. Isotätini pukeutui tyylikkäästi sävy sävyyn mekkoihin ja villatakkeihin lähes
aina ja omakin tyylikkyyskäsitykseni perustuu paljolti häneen. Hän
puolestaan kehitti tyylinsä ehkä 1950-luvulla toivuttuaan sodasta. Se pysyi aika lailla samana vuosikymmeniä. Tätityyli on ajattoman tyylikästä. This dress is thrifted few years back for few euros and it was without labels. It had big 1980s style sleeves that I chopped off and now it looks more like airy 1930s style. This style reminds me of my great aunt who wore mostly dresses in similar style and length. She had been a nurse in the war and lost her fiancé there. Purple was her favourite colour and she wore dresses with matching cardigans and costume jewelry. My idea of style is largely based on her aesthetic that was formed probably around 1950s. |
